Beacon

What is Beacon?

Beacon is a secure membership data and email management system designed for u3as. It is separate from this website. Further information about Beacon can be accessed from the Beacon website (this will take you outside of this website).

Beacon Management and Administration Portal

Group leaders and Committee members use Beacon to manage membership, finance, groups, venues, and email securely.

They are provided with individual logins and passwords to access the Beacon Administration Portal in order to carry out relevant tasks. (This portal is external to this website).

  • Useful guides for using Beacon are available to Group Leaders and Committee Members from the training tab on the external Beacon website.
  • Group leaders can also download a Simple Guide to Beacon to familiarise themselves with Beacon management and administration.

Beacon Members' Portal

Individual members can access the Beacon Members' Portal (this is external to this website) to review their own membership record and to update details as necessary.

Please note that Forename and Surname are case sensitive and have to be entered exactly as on your Membership Card (which is generally a capitalised first letter only, e.g. Jemima Puddleduck). The Post Code and email fields are not case sensitive.
