Led by John & Helen Edwards. Car park: just down the hill from Ushaw Moor.
What3words. ///fondest.whisker.charm
Length: 6.25 miles.
Terrain: woodland, grassland, multi user tarmacked path.
We would advise good walking boots and poles for anyone concerned about their stability or gradients.
The paths we will take are clear and well-trodden, but there are some ups and down, particularly around large trees.
Potential obstacles: There are sections with tree roots and stumps to negotiate.
There is one stile, two small gates, one bridge with steps up/ down. There is likely to be mud in parts
N.B. there are no toilets and few seats long the way. We will stop at the midway point by a hawthorn tree where there is bench and good views across the valley.
