South Shields to Cullercoats via the Shields Ferry, led by Sylvia Baskeran. This is an easy 7.8 mile walk starting at the Customs House car park at South Shields where there is limited free car parking:

Please meet near the car park at 10:00am. We'll take the 10:15am ferry across the Tyne to the North Shields Ferry terminal, walk along the road to the fish quay, then follow the promenade towards Tynemouth Priory. We can enjoy packed lunches overlooking Cullercoats harbour before returning to the Ferry Terminal. Please note that there is a charge for the ferry and there are toilets along the way.
