Notes for those interested in joining any group.
1. Anyone can attend one monthly meeting and one interest group meeting before deciding whether to join Washington Village u3a. Annual membership from 1st April 2026 is £12 (from 1st October until 31st March it is £8). More information about membership is on our Join Us page. Please note that there is a fee to attend some group sessions.
2. Please contact the "Group Leader" BEFORE attending a group to ensure there is space (click on the name at the top of this page to send a message).
We are a small friendly group aimed essentially for beginners though members with a bit of Spanish (but below school exam level) are welcome to attend
This group restarted on Friday the 28th of August. We are meeting in Community Room 8, within the outbuildings of Washington Arts Centre. The intention is to run the programme until further notice and regular continuous attendance is expected.
Members of the group will need to buy the book we will be using "Learn Spanish for adult beginners" by Jose Castillo (ISBN: 979-8338260999). This can be found on Amazon, as well as from other suppliers (from £6.75).
