This class is for Tai Chi members who started in October 2025.

There are timed intakes for new members.

• The January 2026 complete beginners class began on Wednesday 7th January.

• The next complete beginners will start in this time slot in April 2026.

If you would like to take up Tai Chi all you need is comfortable clothes and flat, comfortable shoes (such as trainers), as all of the gentle exercises and movements are done in a standing position. The cost is £5 per month and places will be offered on a first come first serve basis, to those members who are new to Tai Chi.

Notes for those interested in joining any group.

1. Anyone can attend one monthly meeting and one interest group meeting before deciding whether to join Washington Village u3a. Annual membership from 1st April 2026 is £12 (from 1st October until 31st March it is £8). More information about membership is on our Join Us page. Please note that there is a fee to attend some group sessions.

2. Please contact the "Group Leader" BEFORE attending a group to ensure there is space (click on the name at the top of this page to send a message).
